Ah Miss Starla,
You have tempted me beyond my power to refuse. I loved the Medieval sites, especially the Scottish Castles. The names stir my imagination and now I am desperately in need of a medieval romance fix. But for some strange reason,I do not seem to have any on hand. I may have to make a quick run to the bookstore because the alternative is taxes. Yech! Thanks for the great research info.

Starla,
I'm so impressed with everything you do. You are so organized and efficient...and carry it all off with that easy grace of yours. It's great that WARA has you and that you're willing to share. Thanks for the links!

Becky, when I first started reading romances, I read medievals, Regencies and historical Westerns. I loved the Highland warriors and the old, rough, tough cowboys. Regencies...I like the wounded heart Lords. And I've written stories with all of them, but turned to the easier contemporaries for a number of years. Now I'm writing a medieval novel. Actually two or more per my editor. I'm enjoying the challenge and getting my chance to write about castles and stubborn Scottish women taking on equally stubborn English men.

Sharon, have fun with your cowboy story.

Elaine, WARA has a lot of wonderful members who share and care about each other.

Great links, Starla! I got a kick out of the cowboy etiquette. One of these days I'd love to visit Scotland and a castle or two.

Becky, I think Johanna Lindsey and Julie Garwood might have some medieval romances you'd enjoy. And it's been a while since I read it, but I really liked Knight in Shining Armor, a time travel by Jude Devereaux.
